From the Introduction to PALE SUN RISING:

(These poems) represent an emotional journey that has reached the point where I can reflect upon my life. Like everyone, it hasn’t always been comfortable or happy. The sense of loss often brings me to tears, and at other times makes me smile - the memories are bittersweet.

I’ve illustrated this collection with photographs I’ve taken, which I hope, add to the impact of the poems.
